Poster:

Poster relates to the main story by showing a guitar. Most likely will use direct cuts with a title at the beginning. Overall not to much editing.

Scratch That Idea

EXT: At library 5th floor working on project

Tyler: 

Tyler continues to talk to Austin about project they are working on for class.

Austin: 

Austin complains to Tyler that the project is taking to long and we need to come up with a new topic to give the speech on.

Tyler: 

Tyler agrees, he think we need to change the topic for the upcoming speech because its to broad of a category.

Tyler and Austin: 

Tyler and Austin continue to talk about the project as Tyler says " scratch that idea" and they delete what they had and brainstorm for a new topic to work on.

Austin: 

Austin mentions that we need to pick a specific topic that wont take to long to talk about.

Tyler: 

Tyler agrees and 15 minutes later they come up with the topic in which they will give there speech on for there project in the class.


After a couple hours of working on there new idea for there project, at the library, they leave to go home.

The look of the film will mostly be interviews with b-roll behind me talking and some of the interviews might have b-roll behind them talking.  Interviews will mostly be medium shots with some close-up shots of interviewer’s face. The b-roll will mostly be video of people taking pills and things associated with prescription drugs. Location of interviews will try to set the mood of the documentary. For example a doctors office

Location of interviews will be outside or at home if not able to get a doctors office

Poster:

The poster represents the graphic because of the b-roll and the topic. Editing will have transitions in between shots and b-roll will be added. I will add a title at the beginning.

Documentary subject

John is a friend of mine who is currently studying at IUSB. Growing up John went to one of the most prestigious high schools in the United States and was a very good student with a GPA of 3.9. As a kid John was in the top 1 percentile of all students in the nation. He is currently studying business and has less then two years left of school. He plans to do big things in his career field after he graduates.
This interview could be a documentary because its interesting and informative. It takes you through a young mans life going through college, trying to find his way.

I do not have the song recorded yet, but do have the lyrics written down and the beat i will be using. 

Creative concept: A chill song about summer nights

Title: Summer Night  

Tagline: Everything is right on a summer night  

Genre: Rap  Music Video Genre: Adventure  Music Video: will match the theme and mood of the song, The shots will express or resemble the lyrics or message

This is the poster I made. Relates to the mood im trying to set in the video and song im making. 

Edit this video based on beat, new shot every 8 to 10 seconds, Slow rhythm and it relates to the beat, there will be transitions, might add a title or some graphics




Style Book:

Shot changes about every 8 seconds with the beat change. Mostly medium shots with maybe a couple wide shots. High key lighting with small amount of props. Costumes are just regular clothing.  Color will be normal. Camera will not be moving, steady shots.

Location Photos:

Equipment resources: Just a camera, few props, no special costumes. Use of natural landscape in shots. Buildings , house, car.


Shooting schedule- Sunday February 12th from 1 to 7 For location photos and February 24^th for music video. Going to be all day.

I have a close relationship to media because my major is mass communications also I use media a lot and have produced media so im very familiar with it.

Some of my hobbies are working out, playing basketball and watching tv/movies.

Ide say my favorite movie is the Truman Show and my favorite TV show is probably South Park or The Office. My favorite artists consist of Nirvana , Mac miller and Kid Cudi.

If I could make any media it would probably be movies.

My goal is to graduate and then get a job somewhere in a mass communication field , specifically sports journalism is my goal but anything close to that would be really cool.

I am interested in media because i enjoy doing it, its fun and im familiar with it.
